2011年初,我到馬來西亞的柔佛新山探訪一位19歲的癌症患者。他患有末期鼻癌,並接受了化療和放療。他面唇蒼白、雙腳浮腫,顯然氣色不佳。

我幫他做了20分鐘的觸摸療法。療程結束後,他母親驚訝地發現他在微笑,嘴唇稍有血色,雙眼炯炯,臉上煥發一種健康的神采。我所做的,就只是把愛的意念傳送給他。後來他一直叫我回去幫他做觸摸治療。

他的生理反應對我來說並不陌生(我在本地的安寧病院義務幫忙,也經常見到這樣的反應)。但這次不同的是,他在治療結束後握著我的手,對我說:“醫師,謝謝你,我愛你。”

我還聽他說,他每天早上都會向媽媽道謝,感謝她付出時間和精力來照顧他。我回答:“你已經學會了我們許多人得花一輩子來學會的東西。”
