World-Renowned Surgeon story on Hildegard medicine wound healing

This is a testimonial from the late world-renowned American cardiac surgeon Dr Michael Ellis DeBakey (September 7, 1908 – July 11, 2008) ( read about him -https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_E._DeBakey#cite_note-hc-2).

It was sent to St Hildegard medicine physician Dr Wighard Strehlow to thank him for the healing of his wounds.

Natural herbs are mild and strong antibiotics are needed? Think again.

Why is it effective? It is the healing synergy of your immune system and the healing effects of nature. We and nature are inseparable. As St Hildegard taught 900 years ago – we are from the earth and the earth will heal us.

Here is the note from the late famous surgeon:

Eighth months ago you were very helpful, offering recommendations for medical treatments to help me with some long-term difficulties. I had a wound healing complication from ‘hospital strep’ that had been treated for two years without positive result. With yarrow compresses, the wound healed and closed within a week. It has been completely healed and remarkable, that treatment cost only six dollars!

That wound had been treated vigorously for nearly two years with antibiotics, which caused a secondary problem of severe diarrhea. Your suggestion of treatment with cracked spelt cereal combined with a yogurt containing acidophilus ended the diarrhea within a span of two weeks, whereas treatment with kaopectate had been unsuccessful.
I had also used your recommendation of including Galangal in my meals three times a day for the last eight months since the healing. It is a pleasure to thank you once more for your advice and help.It has had a wonderful and positive impact on my condition!
