Antibiotic is useless against viruses

The medical community is fully aware that antibiotics are useless against viruses. This is also confirmed by studies done at the National University of Singapore.

Yet consumers are asking for antibiotics for sore throat, runny nose, acute bronchitis, fever etc. Most of these cases are caused by viruses.

The doctors are aware that the prevalent use of antibiotics will create antibiotic resistant bacteria. Don’t forget we ingest residues of antibiotics from animal food on a daily basis.

In other words, it may take a simple cold virus to kill us if our gut flora is imbalanced due to past misuse of antibiotics (taking probiotic won’t solve the whole problem). This aspect of health is a world wide concern worsened by climate change and frequent travels.

Many of you have experience using herbs such as yarrow to treat fever, a commonly viral related ailment, effectively without side effects, Herbs don’t kill the virus but rather enhance your immunity by promoting detoxification via the skin, liver and the kidneys. How wonderful to know that nature do provides us the remedy to help ourselves.
